How I work

Same four steps, every project

The stack changes per project; the sequence doesn't. It is what keeps a solo engagement predictable and a team handover boring.

Shape the problem

Requirements, edge cases and the actual users, agreed in writing before a line of code. The cheapest place to find a wrong assumption.

Model the data

Schema and API contract first. Get the data model right and the UI becomes assembly; get it wrong and every screen spends its life fighting it.

Build in slices

Vertical slices — database through API to screen — shipped to a staging URL you can click, typed end to end, reviewed as small pull requests.

Ship and stay

Dockerised, behind CI/CD, deployed to AWS or Vercel — then handover notes and post-launch support rather than a silent exit.
